In business for more than 20 years, TI has evolved its product line to address the changing needs of the astronomy community. As the desire by astronomers to automate and control remotely their observatory increased, we expanded and improved our product line to meet this demand. Today, we are not only one of the top producers of fiberglass observatory domes but market the finest and top-selling observatory automation accessories. We have more than 1975 domes located in 57 countries around the world!
Product Lines
The Technical Innovations offerings have been broken down into six “Product Categories” with detail pages located in the products tab drop-down options.
6 Foot Domes – Two models of six-foot domes are available, along with two types of structure mounting skirts.
10 Foot Domes – Two models of ten-foot domes, with matching optional wall rings and skirts.
15 Foot Domes – Two models of fifteen-foot domes are presented along with a matching skirt and wall rings.
Super RoboDome – The award-winning complete, compact remote observatory with an optional mounting foundation.
Automation – DDW (the #1 observatory automation package), Dome Works, RoboFocus, and other automation devices.
Accessories – Observatory motor drive systems, power supplies, dome upgrades, small parts, and add-ons including products from other vendors matched to our observatories.
